Infrastructure

We leverage industry-leading technologies to ensure speed and reliability:

• Edge Network: Powered by Cloudflare Pages, our redirect logic runs on servers in 275+ cities globally, ensuring low-latency access from anywhere.
• Database: We utilize Google Firebase Realtime Database for instantaneous data synchronization and 99.9% availability.
• Security: All links are automatically provisioned with SSL/TLS encryption.

⚖️ Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Jachu (the "Service"), accessible from jachu.xyz, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Accounts & Registration

To access certain features (e.g., analytics, link management), you must register an account. You agree that:

• You will provide accurate and complete information.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your password.
• You will notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Use License

Permission is granted to use Jachu for personal and commercial purposes, subject to the restrictions in our Acceptable Use Policy. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title.

4. Limitations of Liability

In no event shall Jachu, nor its administrators, be held liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the Service.

🔒 Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

A. Account Data

When you sign up, we collect your email address and generate a unique User ID (UID). This is used solely for authentication and account recovery.

B. Link Data

We store the original URLs you submit, the custom aliases you create, and any optional passwords or expiry dates you configure.

C. Analytics Data

When a short link is clicked, we collect non-personally identifiable information to provide stats to the link creator:

• IP Address: Used temporarily to determine rough geolocation (City/Country) and then discarded or hashed.
• User Agent: Used to determine device type (Mobile/Desktop) and Browser.
• Referrer: The website the user came from.

2. Third-Party Processors

We share data with specific vendors strictly for infrastructure purposes:

• Google Firebase (USA): Database hosting and Authentication services.
• Cloudflare (USA): DDoS protection, CDN, and Edge computing.
• ApiFlash & QRServer: External APIs used to generate link preview screenshots and QR codes.

🚨 Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

We maintain a Zero Tolerance Policy for abuse. Violation of this policy will result in immediate link deletion and account termination without refund.

Prohibited Activities

You may strictly NOT use Jachu to shorten links to:

• Malware & Phishing: Sites hosting viruses, trojans, ransomware, or fake login pages designed to steal credentials.
• Illegal Content: Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), non-consensual pornography, illegal drug sales, or weapons trafficking.
• Violence & Hate Speech: Content promoting terrorism, self-harm, or violence against specific groups.
• Spam: Unsolicited bulk messaging via SMS, Email, or WhatsApp.

🍪 Cookie Policy

Jachu uses cookies and local storage technologies to enhance your experience.

Types of Cookies Used

• Essential Cookies: Required for authentication (keeping you logged in).
• Functional Cookies: Store your preferences (e.g., sidebar state).
• Security Cookies: Help identify and prevent security risks (e.g., CSRF protection).

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.

💸 Refund & Cancellation Policy

As we use a manual verification system for UPI payments, our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent.

1. Eligibility

• Service Failure: If your account is not upgraded within 48 hours of a confirmed payment, you are eligible for a 100% refund.
• Buyer's Remorse: You may request a refund within 24 hours of purchase, provided you have used less than 10% of your plan's link quota.

2. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued if:

• Your account was terminated for violating the Acceptable Use Policy (e.g., phishing).
• The request is made more than 24 hours after purchase.

3. How to Request

Email refunds@jachu.xyz with your Transaction ID and Registered Email.

📈 Service Level Agreement (SLA)

For paying customers (Pro & Premium plans), we aim to maintain high availability.

Uptime Commitment

We target a 99.9% Monthly Uptime for link redirection. This excludes scheduled maintenance windows.

Credits

If uptime falls below 99.0% in a given month, paid users may request a service credit equivalent to 1 month of their plan value.

Submitting a Takedown Notice

If you believe a link shortened on our service directs to content that infringes your copyright, please send a notice to contact@kamarjahan.in including:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work.
2. The specific Jachu URL (e.g., jachu.xyz/example).
3. A statement of good faith belief.
4. Your physical or electronic signature.

🤖 API Usage Policy

Use of the Jachu API is subject to the following limits and rules.

Rate Limits

• Free Tier: 50 Requests / Month
• Basic Pro: 269 Requests / Month
• Standard: 450 Requests / Month
• Premium: 700+ Requests / Month

Exceeding these limits will result in a 429 Too Many Requests response.

Data Caching

You may cache API responses locally for up to 24 hours to improve performance. You may NOT resell or redistribute our API data directly.
